About Magda
Magdalena (Magda) Ellis, Esq., CPCC, ACC, MSMHC, joined Harborside in September 2023 in the Beverly office. She completed her master's degree program in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Massachusetts, Boston in 2024 and has been practicing as a pre-licensed psychotherapist under supervision. Magda is also a divorce attorney, a certified life coach, and a divorce mediator with a financial and forensic background (she holds CPA and CFE designations). She is also collaboratively trained in resolving divorce disputes.
Magda specializes in divorce, relationship breakups & transitions into new ways of connecting when relationships need to change. Magda helps individuals navigate the divorce roller coaster, turning this potentially traumatic time of transition into a mindful & transformative journey into a New Hope. In addition to working 1:1 with clients, Magda mediates divorce cases and post-divorce disputes. Magda also facilitates divorce/separation groups, both in person and on Zoom.
While Magda specializes in divorce, she serves as a catalyst to all those who seek to transform their pain into opportunities, self-kindness, and a deepening sense of self-worth with a vision for a better future. Magda's approach is supportive, empathetic, and collaborative. She believes that we are all naturally creative, resourceful, whole & good. Magda trusts that all of our experiences hold the potential to help us grow while traveling towards a path that aligns us with our Inner Wisdom, Inner Leader, and God/Love. Approaches to therapy include IFS, EFT, narrative, and cognitive behavioral.
