About Nancy
Nancy J. Davis is a clinical social worker who joined Harborside Counseling Services in 1994. She has master's degrees in both education and social work, the latter of which is from Boston University. She has also completed four year-long training institutes in family and couples therapy. Areas of expertise include working with couples, women in transition, depression, anxiety disorders, divorce mediation, grief, blended families. Her latest training has been in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Relationship Model of Couples therapy. Prior to her career as a clinical social worker, Nancy owned and directed a private school and was on the faculty at North Shore Community College.
