About Nancy
Nancy D. Sieland, LICSW, M.Ed., holds a Master's Degree from Smith College, School for Social Work and a Master's of Education from John Carroll University. She brings over 15 years of experience working in a variety of therapeutic settings including com- munity mental health, hospitals and schools. She practices in Beverly, treating adolescents, adults and familes. Nancy specializes in depression and mood disorders, anxiety , ADHD, life transitions, stress management, relationship issues, parenting issues, behavioral management/modification techniques and fertility issues. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBT), Choice/Reality Therapy and is trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)- a highly effective technique at reprocessing negative beliefs about oneself, which prevent self-improvement.
